With my touch, I mold memories; memories of my own laced with the lost memories of others, which, while seemingly dull, hold an undeniable, sacred brightness. In my art, I wish to treasure the little things- those endearing, seemingly mundane, yet quietly beautiful pieces of this world; weathered paper brittle at the folds, cracked glue, discarded letters of elegant script, anything that holds a certain energy. I strive to bring lost photographs, and the promise of beauty and delicacy that they hold, into the light. I strive for intimacy, to lead you, the viewer, to feel that each element, each weather beaten photograph and dried flower, has been brought safely through time with you especially in mind. Above all, I strive for remembrance, to love the lost light in my life and the lost light in others.
